Volunteers Needed for National Make a Difference Day on October 23!

Residents wanting to make Foster City a better place to live, work, and play are invited to volunteer for a community service project for National Make a Difference Day! On Saturday, October 23, Foster City will join the national movement to celebrate volunteerism, selflessness, and community by coming together and performing acts of kindness.

Celebrate Halloween on October 30 in Leo Ryan Park!

Foster City families are invited to bring their little goblins to Leo Ryan Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, to enjoy the annual Halloween Spooktacular! The day of spirited activities is designed for kids in preschool through fifth grade, but the entire community is welcome to join the fun. Blood Drive

On Saturday, October 9th, Vitalant and the Foster City Lions will be hosting a lifesaving blood drive at the Foster City Recreation Center, located at 650 Shell Blvd in Foster City from 8:00am – 12:45pm. All are invited to this life-saving event!

Send in Your Projects for National Make a Difference Day

On Saturday, October 23, Foster City will come together to improve the local community as part of National Make a Difference Day. The event held annually on the fourth Saturday of October is intended to unify communities through promoting the spirit of volunteerism, community service, and selflessness.

In preparation for the event, the City of Foster City is seeking local organizations, businesses, nonprofit groups, clubs, and others to identify community service projects that can be completed as part of National Make a Difference Day.
