A new survey has been launched to collect the community’s thoughts and perspectives regarding the state of the Foster City Recreation Center and Parks System. Input provided in the survey by residents, park users, and community members will help determine how Foster City’s recreational amenities can be improved to meet current and future needs.

Celebrate This Winter Season in Foster City

The time for winter celebrations has returned and Foster City is planning a series of community events to make the season brighter. A Winter Wonderland attraction in Leo Ryan Park, the Tree Lighting ceremony and Letters to Santa program are all a part of what the City has in store this year.

Head of the Lagoon Hosted by Peninsula Aquatic Junior Crew

Head of the Lagoon was started by a group of master rowers including Ron Hudson and Daryl Winter. It was named after the Monster from the Blue Lagoon movie, and was initially a one day regatta. HOTL has now grown to a two day regatta, hosting junior, collegiate, open, and master teams.

This is an annual 5-km timed trial competition (called a head race) for collegiate teams.  This is hosted by the Peninsula Aquatic Junior Crew.

Foster City Levee Improvements Project Finishes First Year of Construction
