The draft updates to the Parks and Open Spaces Element and Conservation Element are available now for the community to review. Read the documents and share your feedback to help shape the future of Foster City’s parks, open spaces, and natural resources by September 2. 

Outdoor Movie Night: Wicked

Grab your blankets and chairs and join us at the Leo Ryan Park amphitheater for our free outdoor movie night event, featuring the hit film Wicked!

 

The event starts at 6pm with lawn games and concessions. Then at 7:30pm the movie will begin.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Begin this holiday season with Foster City's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!  Join us for holiday music and light refreshments, followed by a countdown to light the tree.  Kids get a chance to meet our "Special Visitor" in a red suit and a take home arts and crafts. The event will begin at 5pm with the official ceremony beginning at 6pm. 

Please note that due to the construction of the Recreation Center Rebuild Project, the annual Tree Lighting event has been relocated to the Leo Ryan Park amphitheater. 

Community Bike Ride

Come to the annual Community Bike Ride on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 10:30am! Join family and friends for a 5 or 10 mile bike ride round trip from Boothbay Park. Refreshments and other giveaways will be available. This event is free and no registration is required.
