Districting Foster City

Foster City transitioned to district elections by adopting a district map and finalizing the sequencing of districts for elections. District boundaries are defined in Final Map (Map B2 Live Edits). Sequencing of the elections for Council seats shall be as follows: districts 1 and 2 in 2026 and districts 3, 4 and 5 in 2028.

Retire the Colors Ceremony hosted by Foster City Lions Club and Foster City Police Honor Guard

With the upcoming closure of the Foster City Recreation Center due to construction, the Foster City Lions Club and Foster City Police Honor Guard will hold a brief ceremony by the flagpole located at the building's Shell Blvd entrance to retire the colors. Ceremony includes flag to be lowered, folded, and placed in a shadowbox for future display once the new center opens.
