Mission Statement

The objective of the Human Resources Department is to attract, develop and retain a talented and well-qualified workforce and to help foster a positive working environment for employees.

The Department provides guidance and support to City Departments, employees, officials, retirees, employment candidates, and the public in the areas of benefits administration, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, recruitment and selection, organizational development and training, workers compensation administration and risk management.
