Affordable Housing Preferences
Below market rate (BMR) properties in the City of Foster City and City-owned workforce and BMR properties have preference priorties for eligibility as listed below.

* The workforce housing property includes eight (8) workforce units, two (2) of which are fully-accessible units, and 14 below market rate (BMR) units (22 total units). For BMR units, the first preference category is number 2, City Employees. The first two preference categories apply only to the workforce units. In addition, applicants for the eight (8) workforce units must only meet minimum income requirements; there is no maximum income limit. Income restrictions do apply to the 14 BMR units.
