The City Council is pleased to announce that Jeff Moneda has been selected as the new City Manager, effective July 1, 2018, upon the retirement of Kevin Miller.

Foster City City Manager Kevin Miller Announces Retirement

Foster City’s City Manager, Kevin M. Miller, announced that he will retire at the beginning of July this year, after serving the Foster City community for over 33 years.

 

 

Foster City Lagoon Levels to be Raised for Summer

The Foster City Public Works Department has announced that the water level in the Foster City lagoon is being raised by approximately 6-8 inches from winter levels to summer levels on March 15.  In the event of a forecast for a major rain event, the Lagoon will be lowered to accommodate the runoff.

Peninsula Clean Energy's ECO100 Now Green-E Certified

As of 2018 Peninsula Clean Energy’s (PCE’s) ECO100 option is now certified by Green-e Energy, the leading renewable energy certification and verification program in North America administered by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions (CRS). Fourteen cities, the County of San Mateo, and the social media company Facebook have chosen to power their operations with PCE’s 100% renewable electricity product, which is available to all San Mateo County residents and businesses.
