The annual Holi Celebration, the Festival of Colors, is hosted by Baybasi, Inc.  Due to inclement weather, Holi has been rescheduled from March 30 to Sunday, April 7th.

What's Happening? Since September 2022, we've been passionately crafting an update to Foster City’s CAP, and we're excited to unveil our progress.

The City of Foster City is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission to fill two openings for partial terms which expire on May 31, 2025 and May 31, 2026. Apply by January 9!

In episode 4 of Foster City at Work, City Manager Stefan Chatwin meets with members of our San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department to learn more about how they operate and the endless training they conduct to serve the Foster City. Come along as he tours the fire station, races to suit up in PPE, and takes on a fire training scenario. 

Off the Grid: Foster City returns to Leo Ryan Park on Wednesday nights beginning April 2 through the month of October! ☀️

Join us for a mid-week escape offering a relaxing and delicious night out on the lagoon for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment each week, delicious mobile food options from the Off the Grid community, in beautiful Leo Ryan Park meadow.  Due to the new Community Center construction,  parking for Off the Grid is located along Shell Blvd., in the City Hall lot, and at 1065 E. Hillsdale Blvd (across from Fire Station).
