The City of Foster City hereby gives notice that a Notice of Preparation (NOP) of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is available for review on the City’s website at: www.fostercity.org/commdev/project/388-vintage-park-drive-ea2021-0001-rz... and invites you to attend a Public Scoping Session to be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 7:00 pm by teleconference/video conference, regarding the scope of the EIR for the proposed redevelopment of vacant El Torito restaurant building into approximately 95,931 square feet of Life Sciences office building located at 388 Vintage Park Drive – Vintage Park Neighborhood – APN: 094-901-270 – EA2021-0001
The purpose of the meeting is to accept comments from the public regarding the scope of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that will be prepared for proposed redevelopment of vacant El Torito restaurant building into approximately 95,931 square feet of Life Sciences office building located at 388 Vintage Park Drive. Comments on the scope should focus on the following probable environmental effects of the project – Aesthetics, Shade, and Shadow; Air Quality; Greenhouse Gas Emissions; Hazards and Hazardous Materials; Land Use and Planning Policy; Noise and Vibration; Public Services and Utilities; Transportation and Traffic; as well as cumulative impacts. The EIR will include an analysis of the project’s consistency with relevant City planning policies in addition to potential alternatives to the proposed project.
