What is Mariners Point?

Mariners Point Golf Center is a privately operated commercial golf course that includes a 9-hole public golf course, a training facility, a clubhouse and related amenities that is located on city-owned land at 2401 E. Third Avenue. It consists of one parcel that is approximately 24 acres.

On July 19, 2021, a City Council public hearing was held to consider, and render a decision, regarding each of the following:

Approval of CEQA Findings, and Certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report, for construction of a seven-story, approximately 89’-0”-tall, ±83,187 square-foot limited-service hotel with 151 guest rooms – southwest corner of Metro Center Boulevard and Shell Boulevard in Town Center Neighborhood (TC) – EA2019-0001; and

388 Vintage Park Drive Project Initial Study
