Parks and Recreation

The City of Foster City is currently seeking proposals for City-wide Janitorial Services for a one-year term to commence on October 1, 2019.  Please see the Request for Proposals for details about the services and how to submit a proposal.

Families and individuals are encouraged to participate in an 11 or 5 mile ride with other community members in the annual Foster City Community Bike Ride. This year, the Community Bike Ride is scheduled for Sunday, September 22nd.  The ride begins at Boothbay Park and continues down the levee along the beautiful San Francisco Bay.

Summer is here and it’s a great time to clean out your closet, garage, and side yards! On Saturday, July 13, the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department is organizing a City-Wide Garage Sale from 9am-2pm.  Host your own yard sale in front of your residence or team up with other neighbors on your block! This event is designed to promote the reuse, recycling, and repurposing of unwanted household items.
