Community Bike Ride

Families and individuals are encouraged to participate in an 11 or 5 mile ride with other community members in the annual Foster City Community Bike Ride. This year, the Community Bike Ride is scheduled for Sunday, September 22nd.  The ride begins at Boothbay Park and continues down the levee along the beautiful San Francisco Bay.

Registration for the event is free and begins at 9:45am at Boothbay Park, located at Boothbay Avenue and Edgewater Blvd.  Water, snacks, and a frozen treat will keep you hydrated and energized during and after your ride.  Also, don’t forget to pick up your free giveaway when you register!

Bike safety is very important!  Please be sure to inflate your tires and make sure your bike is in good working order prior to the ride.  Children under 18 are required to wear a helmet to participate in the ride, but all participants are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet. Free bike and helmet checks for all participants will be provided.

The Community Bike Ride is brought to you by the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department, the Foster City Parks and Recreation Committee, and the Foster City Police Department, with the support of the Foster City Parents Club.
