Kite Day

Originally part of the popular Family Fun Series in the 1990s, Kite Day returns for a day of high-flying fun in Leo Ryan Park Meadow. Join us on Saturday, June 26 for a fun filled day of kite flying and contests throughout the day! 

Contests throughout the day:

  • Longest flight/time on air contest
  • Longest tail contest
  • Most creative kite contest

There will be two sessions for the day:

Foster City Birthday Cake Decorating Contest

Help celebrate Foster City turning 50! We are challenging you to bake and decorate a cake that is inspired by Foster City! What will inspire you? Maybe it’s the lagoon, the parks, or the community?

Super Duper Spring Break Camp
(Grades K-5)

Spring into fun at Super Duper Spring Break Camp! They’ll meet new friends, try super-duper new things, and more importantly, will have memories from camp that will last a lifetime. Keep your child’s mind engaged through silly arts/craft projects, playing a variety of outdoor and indoor games, and singing ridiculously funny songs. Register quickly as spots tend to fill up super-duper fast! For grades K-5!  Please note you must sign up for the full duration of camp; we will not prorate for days/weeks missed.

Stuck at home all day? Young Rembrandts is offering live online classes for our students. This season is an exciting time to be a part of Young Rembrandts. Springtime is all about vibrant colors and our colorful drawings are guaranteed to capture your attention. We will also explore historical themes with our comic book!
