Special Event Permit

Permits are required to hold either a private or a public event in a city park, on a sports field or court, public street, or on any other public property. Examples of special events that are required to obtain a permit are outdoor performances, street fairs, foot races, bicycle rides/races, Bay Trail/levee events, etc. 

"Why I Love Foster City" Student Art Contest

The City of Foster City is launching the "Why I Love Foster City" campaign and we’re inviting K-12 students that are Foster City residents to tell us what they love most about our community. 

ELIGIBILITY AND RULES:               

•  Open to all K-12 school students currently attending or living in City of Foster City.

•  One entry per child.

•  All entrants must have permission from their parent/legal guardian to complete registration.

Plant a Flower Day Pop-up Event

Join us in celebrating National Plant a Flower Day by painting a flower pot! Grab your quaranTEAM (up to 6 people) and register for your own paint station. Bring your ideas and we will supply the rest! Pre-registration is required.

IN PERSON PROGRAM:

One registration/payment of $50 is for up to 6 people. Please only register one "team leader" and bring up to 5 other people with you the day of the event. Groups of more than 6 will be turned away due to social distancing restrictions. We also have an individual table option for $10 per person. Masks are required.
