Foster City Police Department strives to provide unique public safety services to their community.
Crime Prevention Speakers:
A police officer can come out and talk to employees, children, etc. on safety. We will gladly take requests for safety presentations by our police staff. We need to have at least two weeks' notice to schedule it. Call the Administrative Corporal at 650-286-3351 Tuesday thru Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 7am-5pm. Voice mail is available for you to leave a message if no one is immediately available. Staff will contact you to complete the information necessary to fulfill your request. Of course, you can send your request via e-mail to police@fostercity.org.
Verification of Vehicle Identification Number
To have a vehicle's VIN number verified, you may go to your local Department of Motor Vehicles, or contact your local California Highway Patrol Office to schedule an appointment. However, many times you will not be able to drive your vehicle to these locations to accomplish this task without first obtaining a trip permit from the DMV because of registration laws.
