Police Report Options

The Foster City Police Department does not have an online reporting component for crime incidents. Our Department's preference is to respond in person to your residence, business, or other location within the city to provide personal service and to complete a thorough investigation that will include speaking to the reporting person, any identified witnesses, and possible evidence collection at the scene of the crime. In some cases, if you are unavailable to meet in person, officers can also take your report over the phone, but may still want to subsequently meet with you at an agreed upon time to further investigate the criminal act being reported. We do offer online for certain reporting and service requests as follows:

For any other reporting or police related service requests, please contact the police station at (650) 286-3300. If you are reporting an emergency, please call 911.
