Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report)

Water Drops

The City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District (EMID) is pleased to present the current Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report). We want to let customers know where our drinking water comes from, how it is treated to make it safe and healthy, the results of water quality monitoring, and other important information about water quality. The information is provided in compliance with requirements established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and the California Department of Health Services. EMID purchases all of its water from the San Francisco Regional Water System (SFRWS). The results provided from water quality monitoring by the SFRWS and EMID confirm that the water delivered to EMID customers met or exceeded all state and federal standards. The majority of the information contained herein comes from information provided by the SFRWS to EMID.

For questions about the quality of the water, please call the SFRWS Water Quality Bureau toll free number at (877) 737-8297 or visit their website. All other questions about the water system should be directed to the Public Works Maintenance Division of the EMID at (650) 286-8140, 100 Lincoln Centre Drive. Please call the Public Works Maintenance Division if you would like a copy of the report sent to you.  Copies of the report are also available at City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard.
