The City of Foster City was officially incorporated as a municipality on April 27, 1971 — making 2021 its golden 50th Anniversary year! The City’s golden anniversary marks a special opportunity to honor the community’s unique history, and what has contributed to the strong “sense of place,” culture, and inclusivity that exists today. Join us in celebrating this significant milestone and wishing Foster City a happy birthday! 

The City of Foster City is seeking proposals from highly qualified consultants to work closely with the City Manager’s Department, Communications Division, and Project Manager to provide strategic communications and outreach services to the City in regards to CIP 301-657 Levee Improvements Project.

Celebrate 50 years of Foster City! In honor of Foster City’s 50th birthday on 4/27, the City will be planning a series of hybrid celebratory events. Anniversary festivities include something for everyone, from contests and pop-up campaigns to games and trivia.
