Extended Nomination Period

City Council Candidate Nomination Period Extended to August 14

The candidate nomination period for the General Municipal Consolidated Election to be held in the City of Foster City on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the following officers has been extended to Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.:

November 5, 2024 Election - Ballot Measure

Business License Tax Ballot - Measure V

​On July 15, 2024 the City Council adopted a resolution ordering the submission to qualified voters of the City, a measure to amend the Business License Tax on the November 5, 2024 ballot. 

On December 5, 2024, San Mateo County certified the election results, including the passage of Measure V by 74% (with a simple majority required). Changes implemented by the Measure took effect on December 19, 2024.

Vote Centers: All Vote Centers open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
