Some Foster City Facilities to Close Over Holiday Break

City Hall will be closed to the public from Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, through Sunday, January 4, 2026, in observance of the holiday season. Additionally, the Community Center Annex adjacent to the Foster City Library will be closed during this period, except for when classes are in session.

The Vibe Teen Center, at 670 Shell Blvd., will remain open throughout the holiday season. And emergency services, such as the Fire and Police Departments, will not be impacted by the closures.

Staff in departments occupying City Hall and the Community Center Annex will continue to be accessible via phone and email while the facilities are closed, barring holiday observance on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Additionally, a variety of services including bill payments, permit inquiries, and more are available online at www.fostercity.org/cityservices.

All Foster City facilities will return to normal operating hours on Monday, January 5, 2026. Foster City staff wishes the community a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
