Foster City Raises the Lagoon to Summer Level

The Foster City Public Works Department will raise the water level of the Foster City lagoon from winter levels to summer levels during the week of March 18, 2026.

The City's Lagoon Management Plan sets standard lagoon water levels for winter and summer periods. During mid-March, the lagoon level is raised to summer operating levels, and in mid-November, the lagoon level is lowered to prepare for frequent winter storms.
