Description
An Amendment to Title 3, Revenue and Finance of the Foster City Municipal Code to add Chapters 3.50 Park Facilities Impact Fee, 3.60 Transportation Impact Mitigation Fee, and 3.70 Public Safety Impact Fee to implement new Development Impact Fees including an amendment to Chapter 17.88 Affordable Housing Commercial Linkage Fee of Title 17, of the Foster City Municipal Code to update the City's Affordable Housing Commercial Linkage Fee

Previous Status Updates
On November 15, 2021, the City Council approved a contract amendment with EPS to include the study of Affordable Housing Fees to the original scope of work.

On June 21, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-89 and authorized the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Economic and Planning Systems, Inc. (EPS).

On April 6, 2021, staff issued an RFP with a due date for proposals/responses by April 26, 2021, and staff received four (4) responses to the RFP.
On April 5, 2021, the City Council authorized staff to issue an RFP for professional services to conduct a Comprehensive Development Impact Fee Study.

On March 11, 2021, by Minute Order No. 1742, the City Council affirmed each of the Value/Priority areas identified in the Strategic Priorities for 2021 and approved initiation of Impact Fee study to establish Development Impact Fees for development projects.
