The City Clerk Division is responsible for:

  • Accurately recording, maintaining and preserving City records
  • Administering free and open municipal elections in full accordance with the law
  • Managing Council packet production and distribution, and Council minute preparation
  • Overseeing the City’s records management program
  • Serving as the filing officer for
    • Campaign Expenditure Statements required for candidates in municipal elections
    • Statements of Economic Interests filed by public officials and designated employees
  • Overseeing the City’s boards and commissions
