Street Rehabilitation Project (2024-2025)/CIP301-722

CIP301-722 focuses primarily on street resurfacing efforts in Neighborhood 6, inclusive of Halsey/Farragut Blvd, Bainbridge St, Blythe St, Burrows St, and Decatur St. There are minor road improvements outside of Neighborhood 6, which include grading adjustments along Shell Boulevard at the northern driveway to Beach Park Elementary School, crosswalk installation at Boothbay Ave and Galveston Street, and base repairs adjacent to 117 Beach Park Boulevard. The rehabilitation project will help to increase and maintain the City’s overall Pavement Condition Index (PCI). The PCI is a numerical index used to indicate the general condition of a pavement. The construction agreement has been awarded to MCK Services, Inc. Work is expected to begin June 2025.
