THE RUBBER DUCKY INFLATABLE RACE
Registration is now open!

We are excited to pay homage to this popular race from the 1970s and early 1980s to celebrate Foster City's 50th birthday!  This fun community event is designed for people of all ages and skillsets.  We welcome anyone over 5 years of age to participate in this fun family friendly race!  To view the rules of the race, click HERE.

You must provide your own raft.  Don't have an actual raft?  No problem!  You can race with anything that inflates!  Whether it be an inner tube, a pool float or an air mattress, we encourage you to be creative and turn any inflatable into a water vessel!  We cant wait to see what kind of inflatables you come up with!  Life preservers also must be worn at all times during the race.  If you do not own a life preserver, you can find some links to purchase some inexpensive ones HERE.

There will be four different heats which you can register for.  Two of the heats will be designed for families, where one of the members of your team must be 15 years old or younger, and two of the heats will be for adults!  If the children in your family are older than 15, you must register for one of the adult heats.  Registration is $10 per team/inflatable raft.   Registration for the Inflatable Race also allows you to participate in the Quack Collection!

QUACK COLLECTION

This brand new event will be part of the day's festivities.  At 10:30am, registrants will begin racing around the lagoon to collect rubber ducks from our four (4) Quack collection stations.  There will be three collection stations spread around the Leo Ryan park area of the Lagoon, as well as one station at Boat Park.  These commemorative ducks are yours to keep, as souvenirs from the event. Your team will be limited to one duck per station per team.  The Quack Collection stations will only be open for 90 minutes, so participants will have to race against the clock to stop by every station in order to collect all four commemorative ducks!
