Park Cleanup Kits

Foster City boasts over 160 acres of beautiful parks and open space land including sports fields, sport courts, and the pedway.  Residents and visitors alike often remark how much they enjoy their picnics and community events but unfortunately, trash doesn’t always make its way to the proper place.

While our Parks and Recreation Department staff do an amazing job of maintaining our parks, it is up to the entire community to help keep Foster City beautiful!

Summer Days

After a two-year hiatus, the Summer Days festival is returning to Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City!  The community event first held in 2019 will come roaring back for three days of fun in the sun from Friday, August 19, to Sunday, August 21.

The festival is a great opportunity for families, neighbors, and friends to connect and to celebrate the wonderful community in Foster City. Many local Foster City businesses and organizations have partnered with the City to host a jam-packed weekend full of awesome activities for folks of all ages.
