Community members are invited to attend an educational workshop to gain an overview of municipal finance from the City’s Finance Department. This is a valuable opportunity to become familiar with the budget and the budget process and learn about revenue and expenditures in major funds, as well as Government Accounting (Fund Accounting), What financial goals and policies guide budget decisions, Where City revenue comes from, Where City revenue goes, and Financial Reporting and Auditing.

The City of Foster City is accepting proposals to provide janitorial services to the City of Foster City as outlined in the attached Bid Proposal Packet. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 am on March 28, 2018 at the Foster City Recreation Center (650 Shell Blvd., Foster City, CA 94404). A mandatory walkthrough of the eight City locations will follow at the end of the pre-bid conference. Please allow four hours for this meeting.
