Sewer System Rehabilitation Project (CIP 455-611)

A segment of sanitary sewer pipe is scheduled to be replaced along Shell Boulevard near E. Hillsdale Boulevard. The project will begin on December 9, 2019 and will take approximately two weeks to complete (weather-related or unforeseen conditions may affect the overall schedule). Work activities will typically be limited to the hours between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. However, there may be instances when work activities will need to take place outside of the normal periods. Temporary lane closures will be required throughout the construction period. Please observe all posted traffic signs through the construction zone and directions from flaggers for the safety of the public and workers.  

This work is part of the City’s Sewer System Rehabilitation Project (CIP 455-611), which consists of localized pipe repair/replacement, manhole replacement, and lift station rehabilitation. The general contractor for this project is EPS Inc. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption and noise caused by construction activities. The City appreciates your patience and understanding during construction as we work to maintain our sanitary sewer infrastructure.
