Available food resources and local donation opportunities

With the status of CalFresh (SNAP) uncertain, the City of Foster City is sharing the following local resources for residents who may need food and nutritional assistance:

• Samaritan House (4031 Pacific Blvd., San Mateo. Open 9a-4p, Mon-Fri): https://samaritanhousesanmateo.org/service/food-services/. Additional information about Samaritan House services is available on the flyer here. 
• Second Harvest Food Bank (click FIND FOOD NOW button to find the closest food distribution center): https://www.shfb.org/get-food
  Second Harvest Food Bank also distributes pre-boxed groceries for anyone in need to pick up in the Foster City Community Center Annex/Library parking lot on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month starting at 8:30am.  
• San Mateo County Food Resources (Find food and prepared meal distribution services): https://www.smcgov.org/hsa/food-resources. Find out about additional services available via this County flyer. 
• Foster City Chamber of Commerce (Call or text (650) 573-7600 if you or someone you know needs food support): https://www.fostercitychamber.com/
