The City of Foster City is proud to announce the release of its Community Annual Report for 2021, which reviews the city’s myriad of accomplishments and achievements over the past year. Filled with compelling data, beautiful images, expansive information, and a message from Mayor Sanjay Gehani, the report comprehensively tells the story of how Foster City evolved and progressed in 2021.

Though a Community Annual Report is released each year, the 2021 edition is designed a bit differently than previous iterations. Built around the strategic priorities adopted by the City Council at the beginning of the year, the report illustrates ways policy direction effectively resulted in positive outcomes for the community. Additionally, the report reflects on the 50th Anniversary celebration that took place this year in Foster City, recognizing the growth and advancement that has occurred since the City’s incorporation in 1971.

Beyond being a valuable snapshot of the City’s achievements, the report also serves to meet the ongoing commitment to transparent government operations by sharing vital information such as budget data, public safety facts, and community program details, among other features.

“We are very excited to share the Community Annual Report for 2021, which highlights the many achievements and accomplishments that occurred in Foster City this year,” said Interim City Manager Kevin Miller. “We hope everyone who lives, works and plays in Foster City takes the opportunity to read the report and learn more about the policies, programs and services which made 2021 so special.”
