Foster City Recruiting to Fill Positions on the Audit Committee – Deadline Extended

Make a difference in Foster City! The City of Foster City has extended the application due date to fill five positions on the Audit Committee. Interested applicants are invited to submit applications by 5:00 p.m. by the extended deadline of Thursday, December 22, 2022. Applicants are asked to attend the City Council meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023 for consideration of official appointment.

The Audit Committee advises the City Council/District Board regarding the selection of the independent auditor(s), the review of the annual audit process and financial statements, and other financial matters as requested by the City Council/District Board. The committee consists of five voting members appointed by the City Council/District Board.  All members shall have experience and expertise in the field of finance, accounting, law, or information technology.
