The City of Foster City is excited to announce a new partnership with mobile communication platform Simplicity to improve engagement with residents and community members. Simplicity is a free app for phones or mobile devices that delivers immediate, unfiltered push notifications from City Hall about local news, events, and programs according to the interests of the user. It is the easiest, most efficient way for users to stay current and connected with the Foster City community.

“We are enthusiastic about forming this new partnership with Simplicity. We believe this service will be a valuable and useful way for our residents to stay engaged with the news and updates that matter most in Foster City,” said Mayor Richa Awasthi.

Simplicity users will be able to stay informed and connected with Foster City by having all their preferred updates easily aggregated in one place. Those who download the app will also be able to receive immediate emergency alerts localized to Foster City, as well as other exclusive content not posted to the City’s website.

“We are thrilled to partner with the City of Foster City and welcome its residents to the Simplicity App, the new way of informing and strengthening our communities,” said Simplicity co-founder Juraj Gago.

The Simplicity app is available for download on all mobile devices through the App Store at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/simplicity/id1547175115 or on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=help.simplicity.simplicity.
