Construction Advisory Notice: Zayo Group Fiber Optic Project

Zayo Group, a telecommunications company, will soon be installing approximately 5,700 feet of new fiber optic backbone cable to provide services to the businesses in the City. The new cable will extend from Mariner's Island Boulevard through E. Third Avenue into Lincoln Centre Drive. A new cable will also be installed on Lakeside Drive to provide service to the golf course. This project is anticipated to start in late January 2018 and should be completed by March 2018.

 

To minimize inconveniences to the public, construction activities will be limited to the hours between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Traffic control and lane closures will be in effect during construction. Motorists are advised to observe all posted traffic signs for safe travel through the construction area.
