Celebrate Earth Day in April and Join Us for an Earth Day Faire on April 27

Celebrate Earth Day during the month of April with a host of fun activities. The City of Foster City, Foster City Library, Peninsula Clean Energy, and Foster City Citizens Sustainability Advisory Committee (CSAC) are sponsoring multiple events allowing you to make Earth Day, every day!   • A do-it-yourself trash pickup contest in April: Pick up the most trash this month and become eligible to win prizes. Click sustainable.fostercity.org/earth-day-cleanup/ for contest details.
  • An “Earth Day, Everyday” Faire will be held at the Foster City Library, 1000 E. Hillsdale Blvd., on April 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun, educational event for the whole family includes:

    • Booths with local environmental organizations to help you learn more about sustainable living.
    • A plant pot making station and an induction cooking demonstration.
    • Mini-bike repair clinic from Atlas Mobile Bike Repair.
