Foster City families are invited to bring their sweet little ghouls and goblins to Leo Ryan Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, to enjoy the annual Halloween Spooktacular. The day of spirited activities and events is designed for kids in preschool through fifth grade, but the entire community is welcome to join the fun.

Families in attendance can follow the Spooky Boo Trail, which will travel up the hilltop in the meadow to a gallery of pumpkins and jack-o’-lanterns. There will also be a costume contest with awesome prizes for the most creative Halloween outfit, and winners will be highlighted on the City’s social media pages. There will be a pumpkin carving contest too, as well as other arts and crafts projects. And of course, there will be trick or treating and candy for everyone in attendance. Socially distanced trick or treating stations giving out prepackaged candy will be spread out in the park meadow. Don’t forget to wear a costume, and come prepared to have fun!

In the interest of hosting the event in the safest possible fashion, registration is required to attend. Admission is $5 and proceeds from any fundraising at the event will benefit the Foster City Youth and Teen Foundation. For more information about the activities or to register, visit www.fostercity.org/halloween2021.

The Halloween festival is always popular with families in Foster City as well as surrounding communities, and we are certain it will be another spook-tacular event this year. We hope to see you at Leo Ryan Park!
