The City of Foster City announces the video release of "Foster City Alternative Transportation." This video spotlights the many modes of transportation available to everyone.

"We understand that regional traffic is a concern to everyone who lives and works in the Bay Area. Like all the other Peninsula cities, Foster City has its share of regional traffic problems especially at the connecting highways of 92 and 101 to Foster City during peak commute hours. Alternative modes of transportation, other than driving, is one way you can help and also take the stress out of your commute day," said Assistant City Manager Dante Hall. Learn through the trip-planning tool how you can get to your destination by walking, biking, carpooling, vanpooling or taking public transit. For more information visit www.commute.org and www.connectfostercity.com to make your commute in and out of Foster City easier and help the environment.

Stay tuned for upcoming transportation programs and events such as the release of the Foster City Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Intersection Evaluation Study in October, Safe Routes to School on October 4 and the Community Dialogue Series: Transportation in October.
