Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report)

The City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District (EMID) is pleased to present the current Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report). We want to let customers know where our drinking water comes from, how it is treated to make it safe and healthy, the results of water quality monitoring, and other important information about water quality. The information is provided in compliance with requirements established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and the California Department of Health Services. EMID purchases all of its water from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC).

The results provided of water quality monitoring by the SFPUC and EMID confirm that the water delivered to EMID customers met or exceeded all state and federal standards. The majority of the information contained herein comes from information provided by the SFPUC to EMID.

If there are any questions about the quality of the water, please call the SFPUC Water Quality Bureau toll free number at (877) SFPUCWQ or (877) 737-8297 or visit its web site at www.ci.sf.ca.us/puc.

Any other questions about the water system should be directed to the Public Works Maintenance Department of the EMID at (650) 286-8140. City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District, 100 Lincoln Center Drive, Foster City, CA 94404.

Copies of the report are also available at City Hall.
