Bay-Friendly Gardening Guide

The Bay-Friendly Gardening Program was developed to encourage residents to make environmentally friendly gardening choices. It is not a particular style, but an approach that works with nature to reduce waste and protect the watersheds of the San Francisco Bay. Bay-Friendly Gardening is a program of the Alameda County Waste Management Authority and Source Reduction & Recycling Board, also known as StopWaste.Org. The following link provides information on the Bay-Friendly Gardening Program.

Visit www.BayFriendly.org for more information, or call the Compost Info Hotline at (510) 444-SOIL (7645).
