    Foster City Senior Programs

The Foster City Senior Wing offers a wide variety of programming for adults in the Foster City community. We offer programming Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, with some special events held during the evenings and weekends. Our game room is open from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday.

Classes offered at the Foster City Senior Wing include: 

• Qi Gong
• Yoga
• Tai Chi
• Motion to Music Exercise
• Painting & Drawing
• Creative Writing
• Current Affairs
• Sewing

Classes are co-sponsored by the San Mateo Adult Education program and are offered for a minimal donation per semester.  For more information about San Mateo Adult School, click on the link at the bottom of the page.

Ongoing programs offered at the Foster City Senior Wing include: 

• FREE movies every Thursday at 12:30pm
• FREE blood pressure checks on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm
• FREE tax preparation in February-April every year
• Canasta-Mondays at 10am
• Pedro-Mondays at 1pm
• Bridge-Mondays & Thursdays at 1pm
• Bingo-Tuesdays at 12:30pm
• Mah Jong-Thursdays at 1pm
• Open Play-Fridays at 10am

Foster City Senior Express Bus

The Senior Express Bus Program has three transportation components which include: 

• Door-to-door Service
• Local Trips
• Charter Service

BUS SCHEDULE:

TUESDAY: 9am-3:30pm (Rides within Foster City and San Mateo only: groceries, bank, etc.)

WEDNESDAY: 9am-5pm (Doctor's appointments, etc.)

THURSDAY: 10am-3:30pm (Rides within Foster City and San Mateo only: groceries, bank, etc.)

BUS FEES: The payment method for the Senior Express is a punch card. Punch cards can be purchased at the Senior Wing front desk or can be mailed to your home after a check has been received by the Senior Wing front desk staff. No payment will be accepted on the bus.
