From US-101: Take 101 to 92 East towards Hayward.  Then follow directions from CA-92 (below). 

CA-92: Take the Foster City Blvd. exit and turn left onto Metro Center Blvd. and get in the right lane. Turn right onto Foster City Blvd. and head south to E. Hillsdale Blvd. Make a right onto E. Hillsdale Blvd and go straight until you see the sign directing you to the Parking Garage on your right.

Driving Directions: After 5pm

Sam Trans Shuttle Service- NOT Available
This free service has been provided in the past for the fireworks, but due to regulatory changes WILL NOT be available this year. No shuttle service is available to and from the event. Please plan accordingly.

Street Closures

As usual, Shell Blvd. will be closed to through traffic between E. Hillsdale Blvd. and Bounty from 7am until 11pm on July 4th. Through traffic will be prohibited on E. Hillsdale Blvd. between Edgewater and Foster City Blvd. from 6pm until 11pm. Metro Center Blvd. will be open between Edgewater and Foster City Blvd.

Parking

Fourth of July historically turns out a large crowd for the full day of activities and events that lead up to the 9:30pm fireworks show. The community is strongly encouraged to walk, bike, and carpool to the Fourth of July Celebration.

$10 Parking is available at Parkside Tower Parking Garage. The Foster City Lions Club will be collecting $10 per car upon entry. One hundred percent of parking proceeds will go to offset the 4th of July Celebration expenses. We appreciate your support to make this free community event possible each year. Parkside Tower Parking Garage is located on the corner of E. Hillsdale Blvd. and Shell Blvd.

Handicap parking is available in the Library Community Center parking lot and the City Hall parking lot. There is no event parking in The Marketplace (Safeway/Longs) parking lot and a 1-hour time limit will be enforced for Marketplace patrons. Parking in red zones is prohibited and will be strictly enforced.
