FAQ - Sex Offender/Predator Information

Question: How does one check for "sexual predators" in my neighborhood?

Answer: Make an appointment to view the Megan's Law CD-ROM at the Police Department by calling our Records Bureau. The public viewing portion of the Megan's Law CD ROM contains limited information on each registered sex offender. Members of the public will be able to view a photo of the sex offender, the sex offender's name, a description of the sex offender, a list of crimes for which the sex offender is registered, and any other names associated to the sex offender. By law, the public portion of the CD ROM does not allow viewing of the specific street or address associated to a sex offender.
