Question: What should I do if I see graffiti in progress?

Answer: Call the Foster City Police Department 650-286-3300 or 9-1-1 immediately. We need your help in preventing the spread of this problem. Persons caught "Tagging" or creating graffiti and other acts of vandalism are prosecuted and required to pay for the clean-up of their endeavors. We'll also see to it that they participate in community work programs. Some graffiti is gang related. Most is considered "art" by the vandals. As our second set of eyes, we need your help to keep on top of the graffiti problem and thereby reducing the amount of damage to city and private property, and keeping our community a clean and beautiful place to live, work and play.
