FAQ - Fire Sprinkler Permit Process and Cost

Question: What is the process to submit fire sprinkler and fire alarm plans, and what will it cost?

Answer: Four sets each of all plans must be submitted to the Building Inspection Division of the Community Development Department. Fees are based on the valuation of all construction work for which the permit is issued and are taken from Table No. 3-A of the Univeral Building Code (UBC); plan review fees are based on 65% of the building permit fee.
