Question: Is there a curfew in Foster City?

Answer: There is an established curfew in Foster City, (10:00 pm to Sunrise) and the police will most likely contact minors who are out late for a welfare check. The City Ordinance states:? It is unlawful for any minor under the age of eighteen years to loiter, idle, wander or stroll upon, about or in any of the public streets, avenues, alleys, parks, squares, playgrounds, public lots, public places, public buildings, vacant lots or other unsupervised places within the city between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and the time of sunrise of the following morning, when not accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, except when the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor?
