Question: Do I need a permit for an arbor, patio cover or trellis?

Answer: An Architectural Review and a Building Permit is required for all arbors, trellises, windscreens, and patio covers. Permits are also required even if you are replacing an existing structure. For setbacks, design requirements and submittal requirements please call the Planning/Code Enforcement Division.
