Foster City Connections Shuttle

Connections Shuttle Service to be Discontinued

Foster City, CA; May 22, 2012

The City of Foster City has announced that last day of service for the Connections Shuttle Red Line and Blue Line is June 29, 2012. Riders are encouraged to purchase shuttle passes with this end date in mind.

Connections Shuttle passes will continue to be sold at all Connections Shuttle sales locations until June 28, 2012. Riders wishing to purchase punchcards with fewer than 5 rides may do so during the month of JUNE at the CITY HALL sales location only (610 Foster City Boulevard.)

The Connections Shuttle has been running in Foster City since 2003, when the City’s Sunshine Shuttle services was reviewed, revised and renamed. The City Council decided not to fund the shuttle service after the end of June 2012 due to budget reductions.

Connections Shuttle riders are encouraged to consider other options to meet their transportation needs, including SamTrans, Redi-Wheels (for qualifying riders), the Senior Express Door-to-Door service or the PJCC Get Up and Go services (for seniors traveling around town) or carpool or vanpool.
