Public Safety Volunteers makes Foster City a great place to live, work and play!

Foster City Fire Department has trained 330 Foster City Residents to become active Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members to step into leadership roles in their neighborhoods in the event of a disaster situation. Since 2006, FCFD has trained 785 citizens in CERT. In 2014, 88 new members joined their neighborhood CERT teams!
