On Saturday, April 21, 2012, the City of Foster City and the Environmental Sustainability Task Force will host the City’s third Earth Day Fair, which will focus on “Clean Air, Clean Transportation.” Celebrate the theme by walking, riding your bike or carpooling with others to the Fair.

The event will feature a Car and Bike Show, with some of the current technologies available in alternative fuel vehicles and innovative bicycles. There will also be a “bicycle rodeo” for kids, teaching bicycle safety in a fun, action-packed setting.

Plenty of local “green” businesses will be in attendance to answer questions about making your life and home more Earth-friendly. You can also shop the booths and purchase a variety of green items, from recycled jewelry to reusable bags.

Bring your unwanted or expired pharmaceuticals for proper disposal and reduce your waste by participating in free electronics (e-waste) recycling, personal document shredding, and the Earth Day Swap Meet! Drop off clothes, books, toys, anything you don't need anymore...make them someone else's treasures … or find some free goodies of your own!

Community group and vendor booths are still available; make a reservation today!
