Foster City Veterans Honor Wall Dedication Ceremony
For Immediate Release: October 24, 2013
Contact: Kevin Miller, 650-286-3388,

The public is invited to attend the official dedication of the City of Foster City Veterans Honor Wall on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10 AM at Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park (on the hilltop by the flag pole).

The honor wall was established based upon the desire of family, friends, and organizations to honor the brave men and women of Foster City who served in the armed forces.

The Honor Wall has proven to be extremely popular: following its initial induction of 28 honor plates, an additional 70+ plates have been purchased and will be installed for the dedication. There is still space available on the wall for those who would like to obtain a plate in honor of a veteran, or those who wish to donate to support construction of the wall. Nominees must be a current or former resident of Foster City or a current or former employee of the City of Foster City. Applications are available at the Recreation Center.

Please contact Kevin Miller if you have any questions at or (650) 286-3388.
