For Immediate Release: January 12, 2016
The City of Foster City today announced the temporary street closures and parking restrictions in effect for the Foster City 10-Miler which takes place on Sunday, January 24, 2016. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. from Leo Ryan Park and will conclude by 11:30 a.m. Nearly 500 runners are expected for Sunday's races.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and either time their travel to avoid street closures or seek alternative routes using the online map. All highway and interstate routes will remain open throughout the race.

During Sunday's races, streets throughout Foster City will be impacted by the race. Festival organizers have planned carefully to lessen the impact on auto traffic while ensuring runner safety. The Foster City Police Department will issue temporary lane closures and traffic restrictions as runners make their way along the course.
